Well, here we are at the start of another week! I don’t know about you, but to me it feels like the weeks are flying by – and the weekends are going at lightspeed.
Before we look ahead to the next seven days, a quick note about the week that was. It was an assessment week, as I mentioned last Monday, and I made it through in good order. Everything stayed static TriDot wise except for my swim, which rose by two dots! That’s progress I wasn’t necessarily expecting, but I am thrilled for it.
And now, a look into the future.
Monday: I kicked off the week with a 50-minute Threshold 100s swim, which I did this morning at the Y. After my improvement during assessments last week, I’m excited to keep building on that!
Tuesday: We’re looking at a Two-fer Tuesday – a 30-minute row workout at the Row House to start the day and then (hopefully, weather permitting) a ride with the club in the evening. If the weather turns on us I’ll get my ride done indoors.
Wednesday: If it’s Wednesday, it’s speedwork day! This week brings with it 1:10 of MAV shuttles, which I’m really looking forward to.
Thursday: Another two-a-day Thursday, with an hourlong easy ride with my dad in the morning and then a 45-minute easy run in the afternoon.
Friday: I’m back in the pool for a 55-minute Descending 75s workout to close out the workweek. I’ve been wanting to give a 50m pool in my area a try and this may be the week for it! I’ll report back. Then later in the day I’ll knock out a workout at the Row House.
Saturday: I’ve got a 1:15 Threshold and Hold bike workout on Saturday, followed by a 20-minute brick run. I’ve been bad about doing the brick runs lately so I’ll try my best to adhere to this one!
Sunday: A 1:40 long run is in my future for Sunday – my favorite! I’m so excited to get out on the trails for this one.
Have a great week, friends! 🙂
