Well, here we come into another week at last! I hope y’all had as nice a weekend of training as I did. My bike ride with the TriDot crew was a blast, and Sunday’s 5K was three miles of hilly, humid fun! Did any of you race as well? Let me know in the comments!

Let’s get our sights set on the week, shall we?

Monday: I took a rest day today – my allergies have been SO bad the past week or so (my weather app says the tree, grass AND ragweed pollen are all “Very High” at the moment) so I slept in today and took it easy. I’ll be back at it tomorrow.

Tuesday: I’ve got an hourlong Power Builder bike workout first thing in the morning, followed by a 45-minute easy run in the afternoon. Should be a beautiful day for both, and I’m looking forward to it!

Wednesday: I’m going to ride with the bike club Wednesday night – the workout calls for Threshold Intervals but I intend to just have a good time. 🙂

Thursday: My usual Wednesday speedwork moves to Thursday in deference to the Wednesday-night ride! Forty-five minutes of MAV Shuttles is on the docket and I’m super-thrilled.

Friday: I’ve got 55 minutes of Broken 200s in the pool Friday morning, followed by a Restore workout at Row House that afternoon.

Saturday: Now, this is where things get a little bit dicey. I’m working at my tour company Saturday morning, so won’t get my ride in first thing. I have every hope to get it knocked out that afternoon, and if so it’ll be a 1:15 threshold and hold bike followed by a 20-minute run.

Sunday: Fifty minutes of fartleks kicks off my Sunday morning! I couldn’t be more pleased.
