Friends, I must apologize for the silence last week! The workweek carried me right off and my writing time was severely diminished as a result. This week, it’s still crazy at the ol’ day job, but I’ve found a way to fit it all in a little bit better. Plus, to be perfectly honest I missed the accountability of writing on these here pages. 😉 Let’s jump right in!

Monday: I woke dark and early at 5 a.m. to make a 5:45 Full Row class at RowHouse, where my favorite band (Queen) was the star of the playlist. I swear to you, I would do anything for that band – and waking up at 5 definitely fits the bill! I knocked out a great row session and started the week on a great note (so to speak).

Tuesday: Today was an easy ride for an hour with my dad on Zwift, and we had a wonderful time solving the problems of the world.

Wednesday: Next up comes a 1:10 progression run, which I’ll probably knock out on the treadmill!

Thursday: Thursday will bring an hour’s worth of threshold intervals on the bike, plus 20 minutes of running later in the day.

Friday: Now, Friday is a little bit dicey – I have a 55-minute “25-100 speed set” workout in the pool, plus a rowing class! What order I do these in remains to be seen. 😉 Who knows – maybe THIS will be the week of my triumphant return to the pool deck!

Saturday: I’ve got a 90-minute threshold and hold bike workout planned for the weekend, but honestly since the weather is slated to get up to 65 degrees I’ll probably ride with the club outdoors!

Sunday: A 1:20 long run is on the docket, and I couldn’t be happier. I LOVE a good long run!

Have a great week, friends! I’ve missed you!
